Keith Thurman is single handedly championing the welterweight division in the sport of boxing. In recent news, Keith looks to maintain his undefeated record in his upcoming bout with Robert Guerrero in the new Premier Boxing Champion Series. Thurman has announced that he wants to be first person to knockout The Ghost. This might prove to be easier said than done, because Robert is quite the competitor.
Before his time as a professional, Thurman beasted his amateur career, with an impressive 101 victories with 76 by way of knockout. In Thurman's pro debut, he defeated the uncontested Stalinn Lopez.
Now, Thurman seems to bringing back interest in boxing overall. He continues to build on his reputation. According to Premier Boxing Champions, One Time has an exciting next fight:
"The first PBC on NBC card opens with a blockbuster brawl at 147 pounds as Keith "One Time" Thurman squares up with Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero. Thurman, 26, is unbeaten so far in his career, racking up 21 knockouts in his 24 wins. He'll face his toughest test to date in Guerrero, 31, who at 32-2-1 has only lost once since 2006-to Floyd Mayweather Jr. The debut of the Premier Boxing Champions series promises to be a hard-hitting affair."
It may seem as a cocky move to some, but according to a report by Bad Left Hook, Keith claims he will be the first to knockout Guerrero:
"Although Thurman won his last fight, he was a little disappointed that he snapped his 3-fight KO streak. Although Robert Guerrero has never been knocked out in his career, Keith Thurman wants to be the first man to do so. Thurman wasn't able to stop Bundu in his last bout, Guerrero, however, doesn't present that same awkward style and therefore Keith thinks he can get back to his stoppage ways."
