Chris Rock on Howard Stern: New Movie and Tour

Chris Rock made an unscheduled appearance today on The Howard Stern Show. After interrupting Jonah Falcon's interview, the star discussed his new movie and tour.

Gary Dell'Abate, show producer, interrupted Howard mid-sentence (and live)--something that rarely happens. When Stern saw that Chris stopped by, he was overjoyed. The two go way back and have praised each other in the press countless times.

Stern asked the party crasher about why he popped in:

"Im filming a movie where...the movie is kinda like Curb Your Enthusiasm or Louis where I'm playing a version of myself...So in the movie I, ugh, have to promote a movie. And part of the movie is to promote at Sirius. We're shooting up here next week so we're doing some tech stuff...I am the director, the writer, all that. This is Sandler's film. We're like Destiny's Child. He's Beyonce."

Stern informed Chris, who missed the first portion of the interview, that Jonah had recently been stopped at airport security, due to his size. The quick witted comedian responded "Well, he does have a bomb in his pants."

Stern completely forgets about Falcon and asks Rock a barrage of questions. What he really wanted to know is when Rock would be returning to stand up:

"As soon as this movie wraps up. So, November? I'll be on the road so I don't know. I showed my new comedy to Rick Rubin, you know the way a musician would. I did like 40 minutes. he had some good notes. He laughed a couple of times. He tells you what you can build on. He's very insightful into comedy."

Before his publicist yanked him out, Chris told Stern about Grown Ups 2, which is coming out soon. Rock claims that it will be a hit as it is testing better than original. The comic legend also invited Stern to attend a "Fight Night" party at Eddie Murphy's house.

No word yet as to whether Howard will be in attendance.
