Steve Irwin's Daughter, Bindi Irwin, was reported to have died on Twitter. This celebrity death numbers among many other hoaxes in recent weeks.
Steve Irwin loved his daughter more than anything. He stated numerous times that she was "the reason [he] was put on the Earth."
He, more than anyone, would be really proud of his daughter. The cute little kid that used to follow Steve through the Outback, is now 14-years-old.
Bindi may not be wrestling crocs like her old man, but she is quickly building up a celebrity status of her own.
The pint-sized celeb is set to star in the upcoming movie, Return from NIMH Island. With her new found celebrity status, it's no wonder she has been the focus of a celebrity death hoax. It is, after all, a family tradition.
Before Steve's actual passing in 2006, he was declared dead (incorrectly) by more news outlets than anyone. Stories ranged from him being eaten by an alligator to being trampled by a pregnant elephant.
None, however, correctly guessed the type of animal that would utlimately claim the Australian's life.
On September 4, 2006, Steve was murdered by a stingray. The oceanic creature, which he loved dearly, stabbed him through the chest.
While co-workers immediately administered CPR and similar life-saving tactics, they were to no avail. Time the boat touched land, he was declared dead.
His tragic passing touched many people's lives, including John Howard. Howard, who was serving as Prime Minister at the time, is recorded as saying ""Australia has lost a wonderful and colourful son."
Lil' Irwin isn't the only celeb with a fake death. We reported earlier about the death hoax of Full House star Bob Saget.
