Despite online reports claiming that Bob Saget is dead, the star from Full House is doing quite well. He did, however, return to the set of 'Full House.'
Unlike most celebrity death rumors, Saget's originated on Facebook. A few days ago, a FB page entitled "R.I.P. Bob Saget" was created.
Since its formation, over one million people have "liked" the page. In their defense, it did seem somewhat credible.
Facebook users were greeted with this message:
"At about 11 a.m. ET on Monday (June 10, 2013), our beloved actor Bob Saget passed away. Bob Saget was born on May 17, 1956 in Philadelphia. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page."
It was soon made clear that this was a hoax, as major news networks never covered his alleged passing.
What was Bobby actually up to? The answer may surprise you.
He was actually photobombing the home featured in Full House, an action that initiated responses from his fellow cast.
"Cool. The Munsters' house," John Stamos commented on Twitter. "Can you see if my underpants are still hanging on the gutter," Dave Coulier joked.
Mr. Saget spoke to Us Weekly about the exchange:
"It was creepy! Because cars were going by, and I was like I gotta get out of here! And a couple people kinda looked at me. One guy on a moped stopped with a look that was like, 'Oh, come on!' Because it's like, I'm in it! If I'm standing in front of that house . . . some poor lady lives there and it's a well-known house now. People go there and see it like it's a cool thing. It's nice that it's not a negative memory. It's a home-cooked meal memory. So it was kind of weird being there."
