The Voice season 4 finale is almost upon us. Be warned, there are some juicy spoilers in this article.
First, two mentors have been eliminated.
Team Shakira had only one remaining contestant, Sasha Allen. She was eliminated this week, meaning that Shakira will not win her first year as a mentor on The Voice. Prior to Allen's elimination, she offered up these thoughts as to what moving on would mean to her:
"The Voice has been the experience of a lifetime. Moving forward would just mean the world to me. It would mean the world to my kids, I'm sure...I just want doors to open so I that I can open doors for my kids."
Adam Levine is no longer in the competition as well. His last singer, Amber Carrington, was sent home. It was a teary goodbye. Carrington offered these words to her coach before she made her final exit:
"Thank you for being the one button push that's changed my entire life. I love you. Thank you so much."
Levine, who has won the competition more than any other coach, is no longer in the running.
Usher, first time coach, is still competing. He has one remaining contestant--lesbian rocker Michelle Chamuel. She was the first to move on to the finals and is currently leading in votes. Her glam-punk-rock style is connecting with America in ways some did not expect.
Odds seem to favor Blake Shelton, country music star. He still has two viable contestants. The Swon Brothers, actual brothers from Oklahoma, and Danielle Bradbery.
