Pregnant Zooey Deschanel Engaged to Boyfriend Jacob Pechenik After Death Cab Ben Gibbard Divorce

It was recently announced that New Girl actress and She and Him songsters Zooey Deschanel was expecting her first child with her boyfriend Jacob Pechenik. Now it has been revealed that the pregnant starlet and Jacob Pechenik are engaged to be married. This will be Zooey’s second marriage. Deschanel got divorced from Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service lead singer Ben Gibbard back in 2012.

Recently, Zooey Deschenel confirmed that she was pregnant, releasing a statement to People:

“Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one.”

Now, US Weekly is reporting that Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik are engaged to get married.

Back in 2013 Zooey Deschanel spoke to Cosmopolitan UK about getting married again after her divorce Ben Gibbard:

"[True love] that lasts forever… yes, I do believe in it. My parents have been married for 40 years and my grandparents were married for 70 years. I come from a long line of true loves… I'd be more likely to go for somebody who is like me. Well, I like creative people, so whatever that means… Yeah, authentic and creative."
