Sean Penn and Ex-Wife Robin Wright Fighting after Charlize Theron Engagement Adoption Rumors [MARRIAGE UPDATE]

While the happy couple won't officially confirm the rampant rumors that they are already engaged, Sean Penn and Charlize Theron are clearly one of the happiest couples in Hollywood today. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Mystic River Oscar winner and his Monster bride-to-be are doing so well they are planning to adopt a child together in addition to getting married. Unfortunately, the iconic 54-year-old actor/director doesn't seem to even be on speaking terms with his House of Cards ex-wife Robin Wright. Although, his first two marriages ended in spectacular failure, Penn recently explained that he doesn't consider himself to be the same man today as he was back then, so really this is a new man's first marriage.

Judging by the rock on Charlize Theron's engagement ring finger and the nonstop smile of Sean Penn's face it is probably pretty safe to say the Hollywood lovebirds' relationship is doing just fine.

One source that seemed to have all the secret details claimed in the latest February 9, issue of Star Magazine that Sean has even started to process to adopt Charlie's son, Jackson:

"Sean has always been in Jackson's like because he and Charlize have been friends for years, but they've really bonded in this past year.

"Jackson even calls him 'dad' and Sean loves him just as much as his own children."

In fact the informant insists that Penn and his will-be wife are even strongly considering adopting another child together:

"They feel blessed to be making their own little family.

"No one would be surprised if they adopted another child this year."

While Sean knows that he doesn't necessarily have the best track record when it comes to high-profile Hollywood marriages, he recently explained to Esquire that he really doesn't think those strikes should be held against him this time at bat (via Gawker):

"You say I've been married twice before but I've been married under circumstances where I was less informed than I am today, so I wouldn't even consider it a third marriage, I'd consider it a first marriage on its own terms if I got married again."

That being said, Sean does admit that it would be terribly hard for him to explain that to Robin Wright, unless he sent the message through their kids, Dylan and Hopper:

"I'm very friendly with my first ex-wife...[and] I would say that I'm on extremely good terms with the children I share with my second ex-wife."

Yeah...it's probably best if Sean stays focused on the wives that don't hate him yet.
