With all the internet tabloids proudly announcing that Sean Penn and Charlize Theron are finally engaged and talking about an upcoming wedding, it seems difficult to believe that things could have taken a turn for the worst so quickly, but according to the latest gossip news updates that Hollywood blonde is looking to split after finding out that the Mystic River Oscar winner was secretly communicating with his ex-wife, Robin Wright. Word has it that Sean and Robin started talking after Wright recently called off her engagement to actor Ben Foster. If Sean and his Mad Max hottie do breakup, Madonna is also rumored to be dying to rekindle their relationship. The aging pop star has reportedly convinced herself that her 1980s ex-husband is the love of her life and wants to start dating again before he and Theron get married.
After months of speculation and one year of dating, it has been announced that Sean Penn and Charlize Theron are finally engaged.
A source close to the couple told E! News that rings had not been officially exchanged, but Sean and Charlie have already promised to spend the rest of their lives together:
"They have made a commitment to be together for the rest of their lives.
"They are discussing when and where they will have a wedding."
According to an informant in Star Magazine's January 12, issue that all happened before Charlize found out that Sean had been having long conversations with his ex-wife, Robin Wright, right behind her back:
"Robin and Sean barely spoke when she was with Ben...but after Robin ended things, they began talking again.
"[Now] Charlize feels betrayed. It made her wonder what else Sean is hiding from her."
If Charlize does decide to end things with Penn, it isn't like the Hollywood A-lister doesn't have plenty of other opportunities to find a partner.
A secret source quoted by In Touch Weekly even insists that is Penn isn't interested in Charlie or Robin, his ex-wife Madonna would be more than happy to take him back:
"Madonna told me she has everything she wants, but she needs a soul mate. She says Sean is her soul mate.
"She said she's had lots of relationships, some good, some pretty horrible, and she's come to realize Sean is the love of her life.
"He's never left her heart, and she says she needs to get him back before it's too late."
It seems that even with a fiancé, Sean Penn is still that most eligible bachelor in Hollywood.
