It's no secret that Jennifer Aniston has grown tired of all the pregnant rumors and wedding speculation. Lucky for her, all of that nonsense has taken a backseat. Unfortunately, it has a lot to do with her being snubbed by this year's Oscars.
Jennifer Aniston is unquestionably America's sweetheart, but it seems this year's Oscars committee isn't quite so fond of the A-list actress.
Despite taking a pay cut and going through hell for her upcoming film, Cake, Aniston was not nominated for one of the coveted statues.
That doesn't mean that Jennifer is above making fun of herself, though. On a recent episode of Ellen, Aniston laughed off the snub (via Daily Mail):
Ellen commented upon Jennifer's stellar performance in Cake, which hits theatres on January 23.
Ellen: "The Oscar nominations were last week, but I got to say that I am shocked you were not nominated for an Oscar...it actually has to feel good because there are so many people talking about the fact that you didn't get nominated. That in itself has to be a win for you."
Jennifer: "Yeah. I'm the number one snubbed! That's the silver lining!"
Of course, this isn't the first time that Jennifer has made news from her appearance on Ellen. Last year, the famous actress sat down with the daytime talk show host to discuss her upcoming wedding.
Aniston revealed that she wasn't going to reveal the exact date to anyone. Instead, she would just inform friends that she was having a party.
But, Aniston's uncertain wedding date has created problems for her friends (via Entertainment Tonight):
"It's funny actually our friends Sacha and Isla have shown up for four parties, four little gatherings, about a year ago, they would show up in beautiful wedding wear...Even like the Fourth of July last year, they showed up and Sacha was in a powder blue suit and Isla was in a little cute dress. And we were like guys it's the Fourth of July we're in cutoffs and eating hot dogs. We will actually let you know!"
