Tonight Fox’s hit Batman prequel series Gotham is all new. This week Jack Gruber from the “Rogues Gallery” episode returns as the new villain Electrocutioner. However, Gruber's character bares little resemblance to the classic DC Comics character who shares his moniker. While Electrocutioner might be the new villain he can never replace Robin Lord Taylor’s The Penquin. Recently the young actor even got the seal of approval from Danny Devito (Batman Returns, Always Sunny in Philadelphia).
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Gotham, titled “What the Little Bird Told Him,” reads:
“Gordon tries to get his job back by capturing Jack Gruber, a deranged electrical genius who escaped from Arkham Asylum. Meanwhile, Falcone struggles to hold onto his empire when Fish Mooney makes her next move.”

Recently, the Batman Returns Penguin, Danny Devito, spoke to Access Hollywood at the Television Critics Association Winter Tour, about Robin Lord Taylor’s portrayal of The Penquin:
"I've watched the show. I think he's a very good young Penguin. He's a terrific actor."
Devito went on to talking about the possibility of appearing on the series, adding:
"I don't know about that. Again, it's all about the schedules and the parts and like how the thing is written and what it would be and there are so many particulars.”
