Miami Heat Shooting Guard Dwyane Wade Blessed Four Times Before Lakers Game?

Dwyane Wade is one of the most popular and effective players in the NBA. It turns out that his success might not be contributed entirely to skill. Recent reports are suggesting that, before the Lakers game, Wade was blessed by four different Rabbis. If that doesn't sound extreme enough, then it is important to remember that this is not the beginning of Wade's basketball superstitions. A few years ago, it was discovered that D-Wade participates in a several "#3" based rituals before and during every game.

In his career, Wade has achieved some of the most respectable goals in basketball. Also, he has established himself as one of the most well-known and popular players in the league.

Additionally, his jersey has topped the charts multiple times for being the most desired piece of NBA memorabilia. Most significantly, though, he has participated and helped take his team to multiple playoffs and championships.

When a person achieves this level of success, it is atomically assumed that they possess a ridiculous amount of skill. However, according to TMZ Sports, Dwayne Wade might be getting some external help:

"Dwyane Wade made a kosher pit stop before the Miami Heat took on the Lakers in L.A. on Tuesday...The Heat used the facilities at the JEM Community Center in Beverly Hills to warm up hours before their game. And before they left, Wade met up with Rabbi Hertzel Illulian...who offered up a 'quadruple rabbi blessing' before the game. Turns out...the Jews came through -- with the Heat beating the Lakers 78-75."

For those who don't know about Wade, it might come as a shock to learn he believes in that type of thing. Yet, as World Press previously reported, Dwayne could be one of the most superstitious players in pro basketball:

"The Miami Heat's Dwayne Wade doesn't simply sport the #3 on his jersey, he does everything on game day in increments of three...before each game [Wade] starts his routine of threes by doing three pull-ups using the rim as his pull-up bar. He also has to chew three pieces of gum throughout a game, no more and no less. Last, Dwayne drinks three full bottles of Gatorade during a game."
