Spoiler Warning: Tonight, the hit Showtime series Shameless, starring William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum is back with the premiere of Season 5. The official plot synopsis for tonight’s Season 5 premiere episode of Shameless, titled “Milk of the Gods,” reads:
“Season 5 begins with Fiona balancing her job and a crush on her older boss. Meanwhile, Lip leaves college and heads back home to work a demolition job; Frank unveils the secret project he's been working on; Ian helps a pregnant Svetlana take care of baby Yevgeny; and Kevin plays stay-at-home dad when Veronica goes to work at the Alibi.”

Recently, Shameless executive producer Nancy Pimental spoke with TV Line about the return of Jimmy/Steve (Justin Chatwin):
“He comes in right when [Fiona is] really trying to change her ways and go with Steve Kazee’s character and make the right choice and actually be with somebody who cares about her, who isn’t narcissistic and isn’t a bad boy. But then of course, Jimmy/Steve comes back into the picture. He’s there to rock the boat for sure. Isn’t that always his job?”
