The premiere of Fast and Furious 7 is finally just a few short months away, but Paul Walker's father, Paul, Sr., isn't waiting for the film to be released before he settles some business with the Roger Rodas estate. Paul, Sr. has filed a law suit stating that Rodas, who was driving at the time of the crash that ultimately resulted in the actor's death, was in possession of several exotic cars owned by his son and either wants the vehicles or the $1.8 million they are reportedly worth returned. According to the latest gossip news updates, Roger's wife has rejected the claims of the law suit.
It has been just a little over a year since Paul Walker and his business partner, Roger Rodas, tragically lost their lives in a car accident following a charity event November of 2013, but his dad, Paul, Sr., is still trying to track down all his assets.
Acting as executor for the estate, Paul, Sr. has filed a law suit, according to Entertainment Weekly, to getback the exotic cars he believes are in the possession of the Rodas' estate:
"Actor Paul Walker's father, Paul William Walker III, has filed a creditor's claim of $1.8 million against the estate of Roger Rodas.
"The claim argues that Rodas' estate is in possession of 'numerous automobiles and other motor vehicles that are either wholly or partially owned' by Walker."
According to the HTS, the list of cars doesn't exactly included the supercars that you might expect for reportedly being worth $1.8 million:
"The lawsuit was apparently in response to claims that cars owned by Walker, which are thought to include a number of valuable BMWs, Audis, Porches and several Ford Mustangs, were being sold through private brokers."
At this point in time, it seems that lawyers from both parties are doing their best to keep the details from going public, but CBS LA has reported that Rodas' wife has rejected the claims of the suit.
The newly retitled Furious 7 is scheduled to hit theaters April 4.
