Arcade Fire Violinist Sarah Neufeld to Release and Tour New Solo Album, 'Hero Brother' - Listen and Watch

According to Constellation Records, Sarah Neufeld, violinist with Grammy-winning indie rockers Arcade Fire, will release her first solo record on August 20.

Citing influences as diverse as Béla Bartók, Steve Reich, Arthur Russell and Iva Bittová, Hero Brother was recorded in Berlin by Nils Frahm--with Neufeld scratching away everywhere from a grand orchestral hall to an underground parking lot to, last but not least, an abandoned geodesic dome.

Yes, Buckminster Fuller would be so proud.

To wit, have as listen to Neufeld's title track, "Hero Brother."
