Good news, Bey Z fans. Jay Z and Beyonce divorce rumors have finally begun to wane. This comes after claims that Beyonce could be pregnant with the couple's second child, as well as reports that Jay Z was attacked by another conservative pundit.
Jay Z and Beyonce have been catching a lot of heat the past few months, ever since Jay Z was brutally attacked by Beyonce's sister, Solange, in a Met elevator.
But the latest shade being thrown their way comes courtesy of Fox News commentator Mike Huckabee.
The potential 2016 candidate happens to be promoting a new book, and he doesn't hold back when discussing hip-hop's reigning couple. In fact, many outlets (including Washington Post) suggest the republican was being racist, when he compared Jay Z to a pimp in the following passage:
"Beyonce is incredibly talented - gifted, in fact. She has an exceptional set of pipes and can actually sing. She is a terrific dancer - without the explicit moves best left for the privacy of her bedroom. Jay-Z (sic) is a very shrewd businessman, but I wonder: Does it occur to him that he is arguably crossing the line from husband to pimp by exploiting his wife as a sex object?"
Of course, Mike isn't the first Fox News commentator to be accused of racism when criticizing the rap icon. Late last year, Sean Hannity was also accused of unfairly criticizing Z.
Much of the criticism stems from Mr. Hannity referring to Jay Z as a former crack dealer, when he told audiences (via Mediaite):
"I want to talk about Jay Z, who is now the adviser of Andrew Cuomo...Why would the governor pick him?...We can't do better than a former crack dealer?"
