NERD is back. Living up to the name, No-One Ever Really Dies, Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley have reunited for the first time since 2010. The group have contributed a new single to the soundtrack for the upcoming SpongeBob Squarepants film, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. Check out the new track, “Squeeze Me,” in the report below before its official release in January.

Chad Hugo recently spoke to Variety about the new track, where he compared it to The Beatles psychedelic classic “Yellow Submarine”:
“We’re trying not to think too much in a cartoon sense. but more just like a psychedelic, otherworldly type of thing. If you want to draw a parallel, maybe think of what the Beatles did with ‘Yellow Submarine.’”

“Squeeze Me” is set for an official release on January 5, 2015. The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water will hit theaters on February 6, 2015.
