Sony Hacked Emails Reveal 'Batman' Christian Bale Fight with Academy Award Winning Director David O. Russell On Movie Set After Amy Adams Abuse [RUMORS]

Academy Award winning director David O. Russell has quite the impressive resume, with films like, 'American Hustle,' 'Silver Linings Playbook,' 'Three Kings.' However, with all of his accolades also comes controversy. Russell is notoriously hard to work with, often getting into fights with cast and crew members on set. Now a new email, leaked as part of the Sony hack attack has revealed that Russell abused Amy Adams on the set of American Hustle, prompting 'Batman' star Christian Bale to jump to her defense.

The Sony hack has reportedly revealed emails that claim that director David O. Russell “abused,” Amy Adams on the set of American Hustle. Russell’s antics reportedly lead to Christian Bale, jumping to Adams's defence.

Radar Online has apparently obtained emails from journalist Jonathan Alter, to Sony Pictures Chairman Michael Lynton that read:

“He treated the crew like s--t, demanded his own bathroom at all times and frightened people, as he famously had on Three Kings. He grabbed one guy by the collar, cursed out people repeatedly in front of others and so abused Amy Adams that Christian Bale got in his face and told him to stop acting like an asshole.”

Alter went on add that a lot of stars will not work with Russell again, writing:

“I know [Russell is] brilliant, but we have someone on our show who worked closely with him on American Hustle. And not only are the stories about him reforming himself total bulls**t, but the new stories of his abuse and lunatic behavior are extreme even by Hollywood standards… A lot of people won’t work with him again.”

Russell’s alleged fight with Christian Bale is not the first time he has had trouble with a former Batman actor. Russell reportedly headbutted George Clooney on the set of Three Kings.
