‘7th Heaven’ & ‘Revolution’s’ Stephen Collins Admits to Sexually Molesting Children: ‘Always Sunny’ and ‘Star Trek’ Star Confirms Taped Confession

Stephen Collins has confirmed the worst. Months ago his soon-to-be ex-wife released a secret recording of the Seventh Heaven and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (also known for roles in Star Trek and Revolution), actor confessing to sexually abusing children. Now, Collins has officially released a statement, admitting to his sick actions.

One of America’s favorite TV dads has fallen from grace and we are not talking about Bill Cosby. Stephen Collins, the actor who played Pastor Eric Camden on 7th Heaven, has finally admitted to molesting at three girls. Collins confirmed the allegations in a statement to People, admitting:

"Forty years ago, I did something terribly wrong that I deeply regret. I have been working to atone for it ever since. I've decided to address these issues publicly because two months ago, various news organizations published a recording made by my then-wife, Faye Grant, during a confidential marriage therapy session in January, 2012.”

Collins then went on to try and downplay his twisted actions and make himself the victim, adding:

“This session was recorded without the therapist's or my knowledge or consent. On the recording, I described events that took place 20, 32, and 40 years ago. The publication of the recording has resulted in assumptions and innuendos about what I did that go far beyond what actually occurred. As difficult as this is, I want people to know the truth."
