After Russell Wilson Ashton Meem Divorce and Joseph Fauria Feud, Seahawk Accused of Girl Stealing

Seattle Seahawks' star quarterback Russell Wilson has made quite the name for himself during his short time with the NFL. In addition to his impressive stats, Russell has also been a popular subject in the media after his unexpected divorce from Ashton Meem and feud with Joseph Fauria. Predictably, the athlete has landed himself in the news once again, and this time it's for alleged woman stealing.

Russell Wilson was brought onto the Seahawks squad during the 3rd round of the 2012 draft.

At that time, he signed a 4-year, $2.99 million contract. In his rookie year, Wilson led his team to the post-season and even earned himself a $222,000 performance based bonus.

His 2013 season, as most of you know, proved to be even more successful.

Not many 2-year quarterbacks lead their team to a Super Bowl victory. Moreover, they don't come near the earthshattering score difference that Wilson and the Seahawks brought to Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos (43-8). Wilson threw for 206 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions for a 123.1 passer rating.

More recently, though, Wilson has been in the news for less glamorous reasons. He shocked everyone earlier in the year when he announced his divorce from Ashton Meem after only two years. According to Seattle Weekly, the news of the divorce was suprising and unexpected

"His decision to split from his wife of two years, 26-year-old Ashton Meem Wilson, was difficult, he said. Wilson asked his fans for 'prayers, understanding, and privacy,' and said he'd have no further comment. The public and media weren't sure they'd heard right. The 25-year-old athlete, who has in his two years with the team cultivated family values and a deeply Christian persona, [was leaving his wife]?"

The news was shocking and some even blamed Golden Tate for moving in his girl. Now, the tables have turned and Wilson is the one being accused of alleged girl stealing.

According to Sports World News, Joseph Fauria of the Detroit Lions tweeted some embarrassing things when he suspected Wilson of moving in on his girl:

"It is unclear what Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson's relationship is with Erika Ann Hammond, a self-described model, host, fitness guru and athlete, but Detroit Lions tight end Joseph Fauria is sorry for tweeting about it.

He originally tweeted, "Hey @DangeRussWilson enjoy her@ErikaAnnHammond. She had me thinking she was a loyal GF. I almost feel you BrennaClay24 #SprayTan"

Later he tried to mop up his mess saying, " I'm sorry for what I said last night. I make mistakes. I didn't have all the facts & emotions got the best of me."

Regardless if he regretted it later or not, the words were said and the damage was done. There must be something about the Super Bowl Ring wearing Seahawk that attracts feuding over women. What do you think? Let us know in the comment section below.
