Floyd Mayweather Jr. Domestic Abuse Allegations, Rahman Brothers Lawsuit and Wine Bar Controversy

Floyd Mayweather's reputation may consist of decorated awards and undefeated records, but with each passing day, the boxer becomes more and more known for lawsuits and controversies. Mayweather should be accustomed to the courthouse by now. His cases have spanned from lawsuits with his ex-fiance, the Rahman brothers and even with a New Orleans wine bar.

The 37-year-old American boxer currently has an undisputed professional record. He has won ten different titles that stretch across four different weight classes. He has even been awarded Fighter of the Year twice by Ring Magazine.

Mayweather truly has class and poise to spare when it comes to boxing. However, when it comes to maintaining a healthy and modest personal life, Floyd could use some coaching.

It seems like every time you read or hear his name in the news, it is associated with a lawsuit. His nasty split with his ex-fiancé lead to multiple lawsuits and claims of domestic abuse. Also, ESPN reported that Hasim Rahman's two sons recently filed a huge case:

"The sons of former heavyweight world champion Hasim Rahman are suing Floyd Mayweather Jr., Mayweather Promotions and Showtime on a variety of charges...Hasim Rahman Jr, and 18-year-old brother Sharif Rahman, both amateur boxers, allege battery, tortious assault, false imprisonment, negligence, defamation, unjust enrichment and for having their names and likeness used without permission, among other charges, in the 21-page lawsuit filed Thursday in Nevada's Clark County District Court."

This isn't the only Mayweather lawsuit-related news to surface this holiday season. According to TMZ Sports, the champ aimed to knock out a New Orleans wine bar over a false advertisement:

"Floyd Mayweather went toe-to-toe with a New Orleans wine bar... with a judge forcing the bar to pay up for SPREADING LIES about the boxer...Mayweather sued The Wine Bistro...claiming the place falsely advertised that he'd be hosting a Super Bowl party... Floyd was pissed that the bar profited off his name and worried his fans would be pissed ... thinking he was a no-show... Legal docs... show the U.S. District Court judge saw it Mayweather's way -- ordering the bar to pay up...he only walked away with $2,250 in damages."
