Hot on the heels of last night’s Peter Pan Live musical event, and Wednesday's Rockefeller tree lighting, comes an all new Christmas special, How Murray Saved Christmas. The all new animated special, from Simpsons producer, Mike Reiss, features an all star cast including a reunion of Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander and Jerry Stiller. That is right, the Costanza’s are back!
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new Christmas event, How Murray Saved Christmas, reads:
“The story begins in Stinky Cigars, the secret town where all the holiday characters live, from the famous (Santa and the Easter Bunny) to the obscure (Labor Day Amos and Arbor Day Aardvark). Everyone's happy in Stinky Cigars - except Murray Weiner, the grumpy owner of Murray's Holiday Diner. But when Santa is knocked out cold by an experimental toy - the Jack-in-the-Boxer - it's up to Murray to save Christmas - which he does, in a weirdly wonderful way. He even brings toys to the naughty kids!”
Murray might be saving Christmas, it is Festivus for the rest of us.
The cast for tonight’s all new special, includes a reunion of Seinfeld’s favorite father and son team Jason Alexander (George Costanza) and Jerry Stiller (Frank Costanza).
The cast breakdown for tonight’s new episode, includes:
