It is finally here. The moment that you have been waiting for, for 14 years. Sean and Cory are about to reunited. Rider Strong finally makes his appearance as Shawn Hunter on Girl Meets Worlds. The spin-off series to the 90s hit, Boy Meets World, focuses on Ben Savage’s character, Cory Matthews’ daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard). Recently, Blanchard confirmed that the show has been renewed for a second season, tweet a picture from the set. She also revealed that Shawn Hunter will be back next season, along with Mr. Feeny (William Daniels)and Eric Matthews (Batman Beyond’s WIll Friedle).
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Girl Meets World, titled “Girl Meets Home for the Holidays,” reads:
“Cory's family comes for Christmas lunch.”
We can expect a lot more Rider Strong in the future.Rowan Blanchard recently tweeted a pic, teasing an appearance by Mr. Feeny and Shawn Hunter in season 2, along with a caption that reads:
“GUYS. Feeny and Shawn and Topanga and Cory and Riley and Maya all in one place? #seasontwo”
That is right! Batman Beyond himself, Will Friedle will be showing up on Girl Meets World.
