Tonight, The CW’s Game of Thrones-esque series, Reign is all new However, the show, starring Adelaide Kane and Torrance Coombs, hasn’t been drawing in Game of Thrones style ratings. In the recent weeks the show’s rating have dropped, leaving many to believe that show may be cancelled after Season 2.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Reign, titled “Acts of War,” reads:
“Mary proposes a marriage idea for Claude, but Claude has plans of her own. Meanwhile, Bash and Francis concoct a scheme to free Francis from following Narcisse's demands; and Greer discovers she may be deeper in the Protestant movement than she realized.”
Rating for Reign have been on the decline, leading many to predict that the show will be canceled.
The most recent episode of the series, November 20’s “Terror of the Faithful," dropped down to 1.10 (viewers by the million), making it the third lowest rated episode in the series, behind the first two episodes of Season 2.
The previous week’s episode received a 1.19 rating, which was a drastic drop from the 1.33 rating of the episode before that.
By contrast the November 19 (Wednesday night) episode of Arrow, drew in a 2.64. The November 20 episode of The Vampire Diaries, brought in a 1.68.
