'RHONJ' Guilty Teresa Giudice Lawsuit: Bankruptcy Lawyer Sued for Fraud Charges Before Prison Sentence Starts

Time for another update in the life of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice. The reality star announced that she is suing her former bankruptcy lawyer for a hefty sum of money. Despite her and husband Joe Giudice pleading guilty to dozens of fraud charges, Teresa is blaming her former attorney for her upcoming prison sentence.

Teresa Giudice and her husband may be headed towards the big house, but the two aren't ready to give up just yet. Not even facing years in prison can take the fight out of these proud Jersey natives.

And who does the couple have in their crosshairs now?

None other than former bankruptcy lawyer James Kridel. According to Yahoo Celebrity, Teresa is looking for $5 million:

"Teresa Giudice is throwing one last punch before she reports to prison in January, suing her former bankruptcy lawyer for $5 million. In a petition filed in Manhattan Supreme Court Wednesday, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star claims it is James Kridel's malpractice that ultimately resulted in her being sentenced to 15 months in federal prison for fraud."

Teresa's not just battling it out in the court room either.

According to a new report by Radar Online, Teresa is taking on a few family members too. One source who spoke with the publication revealed that Teresa and her brother will not be spending Christmas together:

"Even though they acted cordially towards one another for the show, their issues have continued...While most people would want to spend their last Christmas home with all of their family, Teresa has been extremely vocal about the fact that she will not spend the holidays with Melissa or Joe. Truly, she can't stand them, and wants no 'last holiday' memories to be made with them."

What do you think about the latest rumors? Is there any chance that Giudice can blame her prison sentence on her old attorney?
