The phrase "work hard, play hard" has never suited a young athlete's career better than Nyjah Huston's 2014 season. Earlier this year, Huston squared off against some of the best skaters in the world and came out a champion. But is seems that his personal life might not be goin so great. The young celeb was partying hard on his 20th birthday with other celebs like Waka Flocka. The party was so much fun, police had to shut it down...twice.
Huston was originally sponsored by Element, but later found his way over to the ever-popular DC Shoes. In 2013 Houston won a gold medal at the X-Games in Barcelona. Shortly after, it was announced that Nyjah had won more prize money than any other skater.

After all, not every generation breeds a skateboarding prodigy of Huston's caliber. Street League's recap of the 2014 Super Crown World Championship proves how great Nyjah Huston really is:
"The eight greatest skateboarders in the world battled it out inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey for the 2014 Street League Skateboarding Nike SB Super Crown World Championship. These eight SLS Pros made it into the Finals by dominating and ranking in the top eight standings for the 2014 Season. Nyjah Huston ultimately took the Championship with a remarkable victory on the final trick after going against some of the most talented skateboarders alive."
Being young, successful and rich has proven to have a predictable toll on this athlete's life.
Like so many before him, Nyjah has adopted a party boy mentality that might not ever change. TMZ Sports commented on Nyjah's birthday bash:
"Pro skater Nyjah Huston is rich and famous, but that didn't impress cops who shut down his 20th birthday party...twice. Nyjah threw himself a blowout birthday bash Saturday night at an industrial complex in the OC, featuring Waka Flocka. [Houston] let a drunk chick vomit in the road, [authorities] treated her and then determined the party was out of control, so they shut it down. Nyiah was undeterred and decided to throw an after-party at his OC house. Neighbors complained because the noise was ear splitting, so he was cited for disturbing the peace... Cops have paid more than 20 visits to Nyjah's [this year]."
