NBC’s Chicago Fire is all new this tonight. The firehouse drama, starring Jesse Spencer saw a modest boost during the big crossover with Law & Order: SVU and Chicago PD. However, in the weeks after the crossover, the show’s ratings have fell back to normal. Last week’s Valentines day reached a season low. The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Chicago Fire, titled “Santa Bites,” reads:
“A couple get trapped in a house fire, leading to a perplexing aftermath. Meanwhile, Chief Boden prepares to start his new family; the stresses of life and work push Casey and Dawson apart; and Molly's II gets an opportunity to shine at a holiday fest.”
The recent Law & Order: SVU / Chciago PD crossover episode drewn a ratings boost, 9.06 (million) opposed to the previous week’s 7.23.
Following the crossover the ratings dropped back down, a 7.75 million.
Last week’s Thanksgiving week episode reached a season low of 6.02.
