Tonight, the hit CW Supernatural is all new with its big mid-season finale. Check the preview below to see what is store for Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles). Recently, Misha Collins opened up about Castiel’s vessel,Jimmy Novak, and his daughter Claire’s role in the new story arc.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Supernatural, titled “Hibbing 911,” reads:
“Jody Mills reluctantly attends a mandatory sheriff's retreat and is partnered with an overeager sheriff who wants to bond. Even worse, a body with just strings of meat and skin hanging off the bones is discovered. Jody calls Sam and Dean for help.”
Misha Collins plays the angel Castiel, in his host body, Jimmy Novak. Novak had a daughter, Claire, who was at one host to Castiel.
Recently, Collins spoke to Sheknows about Claire’s role in tonight’s mid-season finale:
"It's going to be a great little arc. I don't even know how little the arc is or how big it is. We, so far, are doing two episodes that focus [on Claire.] It's the midseason finale and midseason premiere. Those two episodes are going to focus on, not exclusively, but a big centerpiece of those episodes is going to be the relationship between Claire and Cas."
Collins went on to add that we might see more Clair in the future:
“I think and I hope that there's more to come. It's not immediate after [the episodes], but I think that there looks like there's more possibility there. It's gonna be cool, I think."
Be sure to tune into the mid-season finale of Supernatural, tonight at 9:00 p.m. eastern on The CW.
