Justin Bieber isn't just known for being Selena Gomez's ex-boyfriend, the legally embattled singer is also known for being a huge sports fan. It's easy to catch Biebs in a photo-op courtside or in other ridiculously priced seats, but recent public opinion sugests that Biebs is bad luck for the teams he supports. Last month, the Internet was buzzing with superstitions and jinx rumos after Justin joined in on a prayer with the Pittsburg Steelers. Even Terry Bradshaw chimed in to show his disapproval. Now, recent photos of the young star celebrating with the L.A. Clippers suggest that the hex has been reversed.
Being a public figure is never easy. Going out is never the same after even a little bit of fame is gained.
So, it's overwhelming to imagine what people like Bieber have to go through everyday. Rarely is the news ever positive...and this is certainly the case with a recent New York Daily News report that claims Bieber is a jinx:
"The Steelers didn't have a prayer against the Jets, not when The Biebs was waving a Terrible Towel. Justin Bieber, who has a history of jinxing the sports teams he supports, showed up at a Steelers bible study on Saturday night...the lowly Jets thumped his Steelers, 20-13."
That's not all, either. Bieber haters and soccer fans alike gave Justin an online beating after he wore a Spain Jersey. Further fueling rumors that Jinx is bad luck, the incumbent world champs were shortly knocked out of the World Cup.
Now, however, it looks like the Bieber's luck has turned around. New photos of the Biebs -- and others captured by TMZ Spots -- show that the curse may finally be broken:
"The L.A. Clippers locker room was the place to be last night...when a bunch of HUGE stars kicked it with the team after their victory -- including Justin Bieber and Rob Gronkowski!!! Rob -- along with New England Patriots teammates Jonas Gray (RB), Shane Vereen (RB), Akeem Ayers (LB) and Darius Fleming (LB) -- were invited into the locker room by Doc Rivers after the Clips beat up on the Minnesota Timberwolves at Staples Center. As for Bieber, he's friends with a bunch of guys on the team...including DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul...and was spotted having a deep convo with Blake Griffin at Blake's locker."
What do you think? Did are the Clippers jinx proof? Or, is Bieber finally able to attend games without hurting his team's chances? Let us know in the comment section below.
