Ex-Clippers owner Donald Sterling is caught up in another legal scandal. This time around, he hasn't been making racist comments, nor has he banned from anything else. Instead, he is caught up in another lawsuit. A man who apparently lived in one of Sterling's apartment buildings is suing Donald, as well as making more accusations of racism. Not surprisingly, this isn't the only lawsuit Sterling has been caught up in this year. He actually filled a suit in superior court earlier in the year, in attempt to claim damages from the NBA and several others, following his rumored affair with V. Stiviano.
Back in July of this year, Sterling proved to everyone that he wasn't ready to take his banishment lying down. It really doesn't matter if Sterling is delusional or not, he is still letting everyone know that he isn't going to back down.
According to ESPN, Donald sought retribution for the way he was wronged. It's not like he spouted off a bunch of racist comments or anything:
"Donald Sterling filed a suit in Superior Court on Tuesday afternoon seeking damages from the NBA, commissioner Adam Silver and his wife Shelly Sterling, alleging they defrauded him and violated corporate law in attempting to sell the franchise to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Sterling asked for an injunction to freeze the $2 billion sale, arguing that his wife had no authority to sell the franchise because he is the sole owner and shareholder of the corporation, which owns the Clippers, after he revoked the Sterling Family Trust on June 9."
Also, Donald isn't free from the legal system just yet.
Now, however, he finds himself on the receiving end, and it remains to be seen what kind of footing Sterling has. According to TMZ, the accusation he faces is somewhat repulsive, which is nothing new:
"The lawsuit states a man named Daryl Williams 'was living in an apartment in Donald's Reno Country Club building a while back when the bedbugs took over. Williams says he complained to management about the problem ... but Donald's company blew him off because he's black...and we all know how Sterling feels about black people. Darryl claims his family was not only forced to 'suffer from the infestation' -- but they were eventually EVICTED from the property. Now, Williams is suing for physical and emotional injuries."
