Ex-NBA Star Stephen Jackson Involved In Lawsuit Scandal After Facing Felony Charges

Stephen Jackson has been all over the place during his time with the NBA, with his performances on the court varying from game to game. Sometimes he gets on a streak and becomes a viable option for making plays. He is especially useful from the 3-point line or, being 6 ft. 8in, at the post. However, he seems to get in a slump just as often. His shooting becomes unreliable and his possessions devolve into turnovers really quick. More interesting, though, is the baller's reputation and activities outside of the NBA. His actions have ranged from being involved in the worst NBA brawl of all time to being charged with felonies. Now, however, his ex-wife is suing Jackson for violating legal documents.

Back in 2004, Jackson was one of the main players involved in "Malice at the Palace," a fight between the Pacers and the Pistons. It was a very large-scale brawl that involved players and fans alike. Shortly after that, according to Odds Board, Jackson put himself in a tight position yet again. This time the consequences involved felony charges:

"Indiana Pacers guard Stephen Jackson was charged on Wednesday with felony criminal recklessness and misdemeanor courts of battery and disorderly conduct. Jackson was led away in handcuffs after a judge entered a not guilty plea on his behalf. The charges stemmed from his role in a fighting incident outside an Indianapolis nightclub last week. Apparently Jackson was hit by a car and reportedly fired his handgun in the air five times."

Now, Jackson has added another line to his list of legal problems. His wife is suing him for selling her Bentley behind her back. TMZ has the scoop on the situation:

"In some...legal docs obtained by TMZ Sports, Renata White Jackson claims she filed for divorce from Jackson in 2013 ... and says both sides were instructed not to get rid of any major assets until the court could divide them up. But according to Renata, Jackson wasn't having it ... and on October 9, 2014, he stole the keys to her Bentley and sold it off behind her back." Then, Renata claims Jackson sent her a text saying, 'Clearly u make a lot of decisions without me. So I sold [the Bentley] for what I pay for it. U can get something else...I will spend it all before I let u take it and spend it on another n**ga or bitch.' Now, Renata claims Jackson should BE THROWN IN JAIL until Stephen forks over her share of the profit from the sale of the Bentley..."

The report goes on to say that there is a valid prenup in place, so we'll have to wait and see what the courts work out. What do you think about the situation? Let us know in the comment section below.
