‘Iron Man’ and ‘Sin City 2’ Star Mickey Rourke, 62, Returns to Boxing, Beats 29-Year-Old: Was Fight Rigged? [VIDEO]

Mickey Rourke is no stranger to second chances. The 62-year-old comeback kid stepped back into the spotlight with a string of high profile films in the mid-2000s, including Sin City, The Expendables, Iron Man 2 and the Oscar-nominated film, The Wrestler. Now, Rourke has once again returned to his other great love, boxing. He shook off his ring rust, beating a 29-year-old fighter (Elliot Seymour), in a title bout. However, some news outlets, including TMZ, are suggesting that the match was rigged. Check out the video below to see for yourself.

Mickey Rourke nearly let his previous boxing career in the 90’s ruin his acting career. He even underwent a drastic physical change, with boxing related scars covering his face.

Back in 2009, Rourke famously told Barbara Walters about how his dogs saved his life (via People):

"I sort of self-destructed and everything came out about fourteen years ago or so ... the wife had left, the career was over, the money was not an ounce...The dogs were there when no one else was there...What happened was, I was not in a really good place in my head and my heart, and I think when the wife left, it all came down and I didn't want to be here."
