After the filming finally wrapped on Fast and Furious 7, Vin Diesel made the rounds promoting the movie and talking about just how hard it was to go on without his good friend, Paul Walker, whose autopsy revealed was still alive immediately after last November's car crash. According to that latest gossip news updates, Walker's dad has come forward to talk about what the cast--and especially Vin Diesel's friendship--came to mean to his son, during the fifteen years that they all worked together. Paul's father, Paul Walker III, also commented on just how proud he was that Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, were able to help complete his final film and add to their brother's legacy.
Time and time again the cast of Furious 7 have made a point of referring to themselves as a unit or family of sorts since the untimely death of Paul Walker this time last year.
During a recent heartwarming interview on Entertainment Tonight, Paul Walker's dad, Paul III, revealed that Paul also held them in a special place in his heart as well.
Walker recalled telling Paul's younger brother's that they should remember that being a part of Fast and Furious meant being a part of something bigger than just yourself:
"They said, 'Dad, these people really loved Paul!' And I said, 'Yeah, now they love you. You're the same.'
"They're the same as Paul. They're all chipped from the same brick."
Walker Sr. let some of the surviving members of the original Fast crew know just what they meant to his son:
"Michelle Rodriguez he said was the most fun person to go out on the town with.
"[And] I don't think Vin realized how highly Paul thought of him."
Tyrese Gibson once remarked that he couldn't really move past the tragedy until he went to Dubai to clear his head, and now he is heading back again.
This time Ty is heading to the UAE for the Formula 1 Grand Prix--a trip Gibson seems more than happy to chronical via a constantly updating stream of Instagram posts.
