‘State of Affairs’ Katherine Heigl New Show Ends ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Feud with Shonda Rimes? [GOSSIP NEWS]

No one has forgotten Katheirne Heigl's reputation for being a royal pain in the hind end--even if they can't remember exactly what it was the former Grey's Anatomy star did to get it. Her ABC boss, Shonda Rimes, on the other hand, remembers the kind of person Heigl was during those first formative network years and is determine to never let anyone like that work for her ever again. According to the latest gossip news updates, however, the Knocked Up knock-out is working hard to change people's minds about her now that her new show on NBC, State of Affairs, and her comeback depends on it. Apparently, Shonda Rimes is just not the person to start a feud with in Hollywood.

Katherine Heigl has a new show coming on NBC next week called State of Affairs despite her reputation as being difficult to work with box office poison.

Ever since Katherine acted like she was better than the very vehicles that she rode to fame and international stardom, the former Grey's star has enjoyed a less than stellar reputation, to say the least, but NBC president of entertainment, Jennifer Salke, is betting Heigl's performance will be too riveting to hate (via Variety):

"She did get some blowback in the past, but the core audience loves her romantic comedies.

"I think people are very forgiving when they see a character played so well by her."

It seems unlikely that Shonda Rimes isn't going to be forgetting anything about her time feud with Kathy, regardless of her acting chops in State of Affairs.

The legendary ABC showrunner told The Hollywood Reporter that she is hell bound and determined to eliminate any and all people that remind her of Heigl from her life and TV shows just as soon as she finds then:

"I don't put up with bullshit or nasty people. I don't have time for it.

"There are no Heigls in this situation."

A behind the scenes source claims in OK! Magazine's November 24, issue that all the controversy hasn't gone unnoticed by Katherine, and this time around the 35-year-old actress is working hard to learn from her past mistakes:

"Katie has learned some very valuable lessons.

"She knows doors can shut, and she has a lot riding on the show's success.

"If she has to kiss a production assistant's butt to prove she's not a diva, she'll do it.

"Katie's rep is haunting her, so she's behaving this time."

Just remember when State of Affairs premieres next Monday night that there are a lot of people whose livelihoods depends on the show's success...that are probably not complete Hollywood A-holes.
