Time for another update in the life of Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel, who is still undergoing a nasty divorce. The Skinnygirl mogul and returning reality star recently celebrated her birthday alongside close pal Ramona Singer. This latest report follows rumors that Bethenny's salary was revealed for the upcoming season of RHONYC.
If Bethenny's prolonged divorce from estranged husband Jason Hoppy is taking a toll on Frankel, it certainly doesn't show.
The star looked great, as she and friends celebrated her 44th birthday at the exclusive Monarch Room. Ramona Singer, Bethenny's close friend, and a number of other housewives were in attendance.
Although there were rumors of some drama, partygoers seemed far too busy making out to notice, as one source tells E! News:
"[Bethenny and her boyfriend] took over the dance floor...They were kissing and seem very much in love...Sonja [Morgan] was openly making out with a guy who easily looked 20 years younger than her...Ramona was spotted chatting things up with a handsome young admirer, too. They left together."
That's good news for Bethenny, who has been struggling as of late.
Not only has she been fighting it out with her ex in court, but she also lost her daytime talk show gig. The Ellen DeGeneres-backed production was canceled over the summer, following consistently poor ratings.
But things have since turned around for Bethenny, especially in the employment category. According to The Hollywood Gossip, Frankel is the second highest paid housewife of the entire franchise:
"Frankel has been offered 'well over $1 million' by Bravo to return to The Real Housewives of New York City, which made her a star in her own right...[Nene Leakes] meanwhile, will reportedly earn $1.5 million next season, a staggering amount but one she was willing to command for the highly-rated RHOA."
What do you think about the latest rumors? Do you think Bethenny deserves to be paid more or less than NeNe? Will Bethenny's return to RHONYC be enough to boost the ratings?
