It looks like rumors that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are planning to retire following the birth of their first baby are completely false, as Eva was recently photographed on her way to an acting gig. The retirement rumors came after months of reports that the couple were headed towards a breakup, despite Mendes' ongoing pregnancy.
When it comes to Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, it seems like the tabloids are always getting it wrong.
Not only did they wrongly predict that the Hollywood couple were parting ways, but they also claimed that Eva Mendes was going to retire.
But, People has already proven this latest claim to be wrong. The popular entertainment publication published a photo of Eva-the first one taken since giving birth to her daughter, Esmeralda-as the actress was on her way to yet another acting gig:
"Autumn - and motherhood - certainly look amazing on Eva Mendes...Just six weeks after giving birth to her and longtime beau Ryan Gosling's first child, daughter Esmeralda, a slim Mendes gets back to work, shooting a commercial in Los Angeles over the weekend."
And Eva isn't the only one who's headed back to work.
Despite claims that he was also going to retire, Ryan Gosling actually returned to work before his wife did. The A-list actor has been in Hotlanta, working on his upcoming film, The Nice Guys.
Just Jared was among a number of sites to publish photos of Ryan from the set of the upcoming flick. You can check out the pics over at the popular U.S.-based gossip site, who also provided the following description:
"Ryan Gosling rocks a retro look complete with a mustache on the set of his new film The Nice Guys on Monday (October 27) in Atlanta, Ga...The 33-year-old actor - who was spotted on set later in a white button down and suspenders - is continuing to film while girlfriend Eva Mendes and new daughter Esmeralda stayed at home."
