Bobby Elvis has left the building. Last night’s Mark Boone Junior’s character on Sons of Anarchy was killed off. Where Boone blames Gemma (Katey Sagal) for his death, some of the blame rest on Bobby himself.
Mark Boone Junior recently spoke to TV Line where he pointed all the blame for Bobby’s death on Gemma (Katey Sagal):
“Gemma is responsible for the whole deal, yes! [Laughs] This is all on Gemma, every bit of it. That’s what the whole season is about, every time there’s a casualty. It’s definitely been seeping in there before Bobby’s death, but it really comes home to roost then. Bobby was the last vestige of the old club. Tig isn’t really, nor is Chibs. Bobby’s it. He wasn’t part of the original nine, but he came very soon after...Gemma’s like a mythological monster. There’s no woman that’s ever existed in the history of motorcycle clubs like her. Will the dragon be slayed? I don’t know.”
However, if you ask us, Gemma isn’t solely to blame for Bobby’s death. After all, if he knew that Marks had a gun hidden on his person, why didn’t try to do anything about it. Sure he tried to mubble through a gag and broken jaw, but the man is pushing 300 pounds, why didn’t he just lay down.
That is right. It literally could have been the easiest him to do in his battered condition. The bad guy has a gun hidden on your back, so you just lay on your back. Add in a couple of leg trashes to get Jax’s attention and bingo, problem solved.
Mark’s would have to rush to get the gun, buying Jax and Grant (Arjay Smith) time to subdue Marks. Bobby had a good minute to get this done, while Marks was examining the good preacher’s body.
Still despite the needless and not very shocking death, we won't hold this sin to harshly against the series. We can chalk it up to Bobby being badly beaten and not in his right mind. After all, it isn’t really that big a deal, it is not like it was a matter of life or death….oh wait.

Sons of Anarchy airs Tuesday nights at 10:00 p.m. on FX, followed by an awful, awful aftershow.
