David Duchovny Wife Téa Leoni Fired from New CBS Show Madam Secretary after Husband Hate Interview? [NEWS UPDATE]

According to the latest gossip news updates, Bad Boys alum Téa Leoni is in danger of being fired from the first high-profile acting gig she's had in ages. Word has it that her diva antics are alienating the cast and crew of Madam Secretary, despite the show's continued rise in the ratings. Last week it was announced that CBS had already sold the show's first season to Britain's BSkyB network, but if the tensions on the set are allowed to grow as reported, there may not even be a season 2. In related news, Téa revealed in a recent interview that regardless of their divorce or past misdeeds, she would never hate her ex-husband, David Duchovny.

After years of being known as little more than David Duchovny's struggling actress wife, Téa Leoni is said to be blowing her big break at becoming a household name in her lifetime.

According to a behind-the-scenes sourc,e who spoke to Star Magazine last week, Téa is turning everyone against her with her ridiculously over-controlling behavior:

"Téa's ego needs some checks and balances.

"Téa told producers that she wants final approval over her costars--she doesn't want anyone who's a bigger name on the show.

"Téa wants to be the most talked-about character and throws a fit if she doesn't like one of her lines.

"She also wants to be in every scene, which has caused some tension."

Thankfully, at least, Leoni's rep has come forward to stick up for their client as well as to dismiss the allegations as utter nonsense (via Gossip Cop):

"Everything about [that story] is wrong and untrue...[our client] couldn't be more generous or wonderful."

Irregardless of how her coworkers may or may not feel about her, Téa still seems to be getting along swimmingly with her ex-husband, David Duchovny.

During a recent conversation with Parade magazine, she explained that just because they were divorced and living separate lives in Hollywood, doesn't mean they don't share an eternal love for one another (via Us Weekly):

"I don't know how I could ever hate him.

"David gave me the two greatest gifts on the planet.

"We've always loved each other, and we adore these kids."

The Californication heartbreaker told the publication that the feeling was mutual and being divorced, of course, didn't mean their commitment to each other ended:

"Téa and I had a long time together.

"We'll always be connected and there for each other."

Now, whether or not Téa stays connected to her new series, on the other hand, may be another--very different--story.
