Today, Zacchae'us Paul unveils his forthcoming album: "Jazz Money," which will arrive on a yet-to-be-disclosed date via the storied and recently relaunched jazz label Candid Records. Alongside the announcement, Paul shares his latest single off the album: the ebullient "Banana Laffy Taffy."

The song itself is Zacchae'us Paul's jazzy ode to what he deems as the most underrated flavor of Laffy Taffy: banana.
Sonically, with label mate Morgan Guerin and alto sax player Rogerst Charles hopping on, the track swims in lush soundscapes. This includes exuberant piano chord voicings and varied vocal textures for which the artist is known.
These recent offerings from the jazz prodigy follow his previous single "Mama Said," a heartfelt dedication to the extraordinary Black women who have shaped Paul's life, and "Better Dayz," an emotionally powerful track about tiptoeing the line between lost love and personal growth.
As evident in these releases, Paul's brand of music is a new spin on jazz, as he melds the long-standing genre with the booming sounds of Atlanta hip-hop, the lush voicings of gospel, and the movement-inducing beats of Caribbean rhythms.
