And with that, Jazz at Lincoln Center has announced that its forthcoming May gala will champion that idea with a celebration in the theme of "Jazz and Broadway" with Vanessa Williams. Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic Boast World Premiere Alongside Brahms
Premiering Wednesday, April 27, the New York Philharmonic will take to David Geffen Hall in a performance of Brahms' Symphony No. 2. Maestro Alan Gilbert will conduct alongside soloist Carter Brey on cello.
