Cleveland Native The Miz Mocks LeBron James Leaving Miami Letter, Sneaks Into Intercontinental Championship

Last week on WWE Main Event, Cleveland's Native The Miz mocked former heat star LeBron James' exit from Miami and the open letter with a letter of his own, explaining why he was leaving Cleveland behind. Blah, blah, blah, something, something Hollywood A-Lister something something. He has actually managed to draw some heat as a heel in his current run with the WWE, a feat that many feared he couldn't accomplish. Not only has he managed to get off to a good start with his "moneymaker" angle, he managed to sneak his way into an Intercontinental Championship on Battleground last Sunday.

In a letter to the city of Cleveland, The Miz mocked LeBron James by parodying his words and adapting them to his persona as "an A-List Hollywood actor and cross-platform mega-star" or whatever (via Pro Wrestling.Net):

"Miz said he is leaving the dying city of Cleveland behind and never looking back. He said he has a responsibility to lead. He said he wants people to realize there are better places to grow up - like Hollywood. He said he is ready to accept the challenge. 'I'm The Miz, I'm from Hollywood, and I'm a star,' he concluded."

As annoying as the Miz is, he seems to be accomplishing his mission as a heel, because he has all the classic traits: cowardice, rule-breaking, lack of self-awareness, and vanity.

He even managed to sneak out of the ring and hide during a Championship Battle Royal until he could surprise attack the last man in the ring, Dolph Ziggler (via Cage Side Seats):

"The finish saw Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler squaring off as though they were the final two in the match when, in reality, The Miz had quietly escaped under the ropes and been hanging out on the outside throughout the match. So when Ziggler superkicked Sheamus to the outside and celebrated on the ropes, Miz ran in to toss him over the top to win the title."
