M-A-dollar sign-E returns to the rap game--again (ooh, you know we need ya)--after divorcing his wife, Twyla Betha, banning her from church and leaving El Elyon International Church in Georgia for gold-chained pastures in the L.A. hip-hop world. His second career return debut album, Now We Even, is set to drop this October. Just think, if Ma$e had 24 hours to live in the 2K14 hip-hop world, who would guest on his new album? Well, think none other than new dad Kanye West, Ricky Ross, The Diplomats and P DIDDY.
It's more money, mo' problems in the Gospel as Betha pleaded guilty to her DUI arrest, blowing .14 (nearly twice the legal limit). Word with some elders and parishioners behind Ma$e's banishment is the congregation have labeled her a hypocrite for preaching "drunkenness is a sin." Sounds like Ma$e was feeling the heat, himself, being criticized for leading a 9-5 rap game and preaching on Sundays.
Leaving the choir behind, Harlem's finest dons R&B hearthrob Eric Bellinger and Basketball Wives star Malaysia Pargo in Juwan Lee's video for "Nothing"--off of the forthcoming Now We Even, the bad boy's first album in 10 years...since his last return, that is, with Welcome Back. Featuring his signature slow raps and Teddy Ruxpin chuckle, Ma$e keeps it '90s on the set for "Nothing" with a desert backdrop and Super Soaker pool party fight, complete with red Solo cups and an Unbelievable reference. Watch independant woman Malaysia Pargo show Ma$e what she wants from him in the official video below.
