WWE Battleground Recap Part 4: Bray Wyatt Vs. Chris Jericho After Bizarre Goldust Promo

Obviously, one of the highlights of WWE Battleground last night was the feud match between Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt. Two of the most charismatic folks in the biz faced off after a month of cat-and-mouse between Y2J and the patriarch of the Wyatt Family. Don't be surprised if Jericho puts Wyatt over before his current run ends in the fall. Meanwhile, the bizarre duo of Goldust and Stardust continue to cut amazing promos, though they haven't seen a ton of in-ring action this month.

Goldust and Stardust cut another amazing promo about parallel universes and the cosmic key to the cosmic door. They need to get back in the ring, though, unless one of them is injured, in which case, keep cutting hilarious promos.

Next, Seth Rollins insisted on coming out and being declared winner over Dean Ambrose via forfeit. Instead, what he got was another a** whipping by Dean Ambrose, before he was removed from the premises yet again.

Then Y2J grabbed a hard-earned victory over Bray Wyatt in the middle of the ring. Dueling chants of "Let's Go Wyatt" and "Y2J" prove that fans these days love a villain just as much as they love a good guy.

Despite showing a little bit of ring rust, Jericho nevertheless still knows how to work a match. It was also a nice move to have the referee eject Luke Harper and Erick Rowan from ringside. The match was a little ugly at times, but it seemed to add to the personal nature of their feud. Trust, it's not over by a long shot. They will probably continue to feud until the end of Jericho's contract in the fall.

I bet you thought they really got rid of Dean Ambrose for good, didn't you? Silly goose. When Seth Rollins headed out to leave the arena, he sent security back inside. Then he scoped out the parking lot, and when his back was turned, Dean Ambrose popped out of Rollins' car and beat the crap out of him one last time.
