After rumors that Kate Gosselin abuses her children, a new report suggests that she forced the twins to go to Alaska, so that she could make even more money off of them. This was done, reportedly, despite ex-husband Jon's concerns about the trip.
Robert Hoffman has spent a lot of time bashing Kate Gosselin. The author and friend of Jon, who published the book Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World, has been doing a ton of press for the book.
As obvious by the title of his book, the work paints Kate in an incredibly negative light. And as Hoffman continues to do publicity, more excerpts from the book continue to leak.
The latest portion, published on Radar Online, tells of a disturbing incident back in 2010. At the time, Kate inked a deal with TLC where she would take the children on a trip to Alaska to meet Sarah Palin.
Reportedly, not all of the children were as excited as Kate about the trip. This is allegedly true for little Mady, who is said to have broke down from all of the pressure:
"Mady couldn't take it anymore and called Jon the night before, begging him to come and get her and take her back to his apartment. She absolutely did not want to go away for more filming, and especially not as far away as Alaska."
Of course, these don't even come close to the most shocking allegations presented in Robert's book. Last Month, Us Weekly published much more damning excerpts from the tell-all.
Hoffman, who claims to have stolen some of Gosselin's private diaries, claims that Kate wrote about abusing her children. This is especially true in one alleged diary excerpt, which involves her reported use of violence against son Collin (via Celeb Dirty Laundry):
"'I grabbed him and spanked him as hard as I could and thought I may seriously injure him, so I sent him to his crib...and whipped him into it very hard. I really REALLY lost it! I pulled Collin up by the hair and I spanked them so hard!' As for her then husband Jon Gosselin, Kate called him at work after the incident with Collin, 'I told him in so many words that I felt like I may hurt his children.'"
