Divorced Extant Catwoman, Halle Berry, can't be feeling too good about the recent court decision forcing her to pay ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry $192K a year in child support from her sizable movie star net worth. Perhaps that it part of the reason that she and current husband French actor, Olivier Martinez, are planning such an extravagant getaway split for their first wedding anniversary. According to the latest gossip news updates the Monster's Ball sex-symbol and her hubby will be abandoning the kids, daughter Nahla, 6, and son Maceo, 9-months, for a romantic anniversary vacation alone in Turks and Ciacos.
In a turn of events that would make anyone question that fincail viability of ever having children NBC Extant star Halle Berry got hit with a whopper of a baby bill after losing in court to her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
According to a report by US Weekly Halle got hit will all sorts of high priced penalties on top of the $16,000 she has been ordered to pay in child support every month from now on:
"Halle Berry's split from Gabriel Aubry is turning out to be very expensive.
"The settlement...the Oscar-winning actress to pay nearly $200,000 a year, plus tuition money, to support their daughter Nahla, 6.
"It also calls for her to pay a retroactive payment of $115,000 and $300,000 to Aubry's attorneys to 'cover the costs of their custody dispute.'
"The exes will split Nahla's health care expenses."
After dealing with a blow like that, there is no wonder why Berry and her new husband Olivier plan to put the realities of life behind them with a slightly belated anniversary vacay.
A supposed insider who spoke Style with Life & Magazine for their July 28, print edition claims to have the scoop on Halle's holiday plans:
"They are thinking that a perfect celebration would be a trip to Turks and Caicos in August...They'll be all by themselves--no babies."
God only knows how rich you have to be to plan an exotic vacation after learning that you are going to have to unexpectedly pay nearly three-quarters of a million dollars...but it must be nice.
