‘Fast and Furious 7’ Cast Update: Paul Walker Autopsy Alive After Crash; The Rock Retires From Franchise? [TRAILER NEWS]

Production has finally wrapped on Fast and Furious 7, and thanks to help from Paul Walker's brothers, Caleb and Cody, as well as the expert direction of James Wan. The release date of the film was originally postponed for a year following the death of Walker, whose autopsy update revealed was still alive immediately following the tragic car crash, but has been since been moved up and entire week thanks to the hard work of the crew and cast members like Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Though he ultimately loved the experience and his time working with the franchise as the most popular character, Johnson feels it may be time to retire from the Fast flicks. The WWE Hercules feels that Paul's last Fast and Furious film should perhaps be his last too.

Now that production has finally wrapped everyone is seems simultaneously relieved and rueful--celebrating the completion of a difficult project as well as marking the passing of a friend.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson thinks that he might actually have to step away from the Fast franchise after this final Paul Walker film.

During an interview with the Toronto Sun the wrestler admitted that he really wasn't sure if he should even consider returning now that Walker is no longer going to be in the pictures:

"I was very happy with the way [Fast & Furious 7] was completed. I think Paul would have wanted that.

"In fact, I know Paul would have wanted that. When something like that happens, it's a harsh reminder of how fortunate we are, and it makes you hug your loved ones harder.

"So, the reason I say, 'I don't know,' is because you don't want to think too far into the future.

"But especially, I think because this is the last one with Paul, it would be a good way to go out. It feels good."

Not that Dwayne minds being hailed as the most popular of all the Fast and Furious charters--even if he isn't the most well-known actor:

"I've got to tell you this, one of the coolest things to experience as an actor with a big franchise is when you test the movie to an audience and you wonder how the audience is going to respond to your character.

"Hobbs was a new character in Fast 5. And he was the highest-testing character.

"And he was the highest-testing character in Fast 6... And I hope they respond to Fast 7."

Well...it sounds like The Rock is adjusting just fine to living and working in L.A.
