For months now, rumors have been flying that Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z are headed towards divorce, over Jay Z's alleged cheating. This week, Solange Knowles opened up about her epic elevator fight, where she assaulted Jay Z. Shortly after, it was revealed that singer Mya actually received death threats over allegations that she has been hooking up with Jay Z for years now.
Wow. It's been a pretty big week for everyone involved in the now-epic elevator brawl, and even for some individuals who weren't caught on cam at The Met. This is especially true for R&B singer Mya.
The singer's manager, Mike Killmon, recently divulged some troubling revelations about what the singer has been going through, following rumors that she has been Jay Z's longtime mistress.
In fact, some of the backlash has even included death threats for the beautiful singer, as Killmon told New York Daily News (via The Urban Daily):
"Someone walked up and asked her about it while she was accepting an award at a church. At first it was just ridiculous, but then some die-hard fans started making threats. She really couldn't care less about the rumors, but she wanted to set the record straight when the after-effects started to become troublesome."
Though Mya has denied cheating allegations on Twitter, some critics find her denial hard to believe.
Beyonce, herself, recently added to the speculation, when she changed the song lyrics of one of her popular songs in concert.
The song-which was about a man cheating on her-quickly made waves. And one source tells Hollywood Life that the change was definitely premeditated:
"Beyonce is very calculated in everything that she does and by changing the lyrics to her song it did two very important things...One was to keep Jay Z in check and two was to create some buzz for the tour to sell tickets. If people are going to talk about their relationship and the highs and lows, like everything else in her life she wants complete control and she wants all the advantages from it."
