Ever since the elevator fight heard 'round the world, Beyonce Knowles, who the tabloids claim is pregnant, and Jay Z, who has been accused of cheating on his wife, rumors have been flying that Jay Z and Beyonce are headed towards divorce. Now it appears that Solange Knowles, who was caught on cam attacking Jay Z, has opened up about the elevator fight.
Solange Knowles has remained relatively quiet, following her well-publicized assault on rap mogul Jay Z. Though the family issued a joint statement following the attack, Solange has never spoken about the incident.
However, that's all changed with the August issue of Lucky. Solange opened up to the publication, speaking briefly about the altercation (via CNN):
"What's important is that my family and I are all good. What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that."
Of course, what everyone is really talking about is the wave of rumors to suggest that hip-hop's power couple are headed towards divorce. Beyonce recently added to the speculation when she changed the song lyrics of one of her popular songs in concert.
The song-which was about a man cheating on her-quickly made waves. And one source tells Hollywood Life that the change was definitely premeditated:
"Beyonce is very calculated in everything that she does and by changing the lyrics to her song it did two very important things...One was to keep Jay Z in check and two was to create some buzz for the tour to sell tickets. If people are going to talk about their relationship and the highs and lows, like everything else in her life she wants complete control and she wants all the advantages from it."
