Things are changing in a big way once again for fashion designer Nicole Richie these days. The former Simple Life star and Fashion Star mentor is back at it again; this time starring in reality show all about herself, VH1's Candidly Nicole. Unfortunately for worried Good Charlotte husband Joel Madden, word has it that Nicole is also slipping back into some of her old habits--like hanging out with toxic influence Rachel Zoe. According to the tabloid gossip news updates little Nicki has been once again palling around with her unhelpful friend, whom she reportedly once blamed for her anorexic, weight loss obsession. Though if you ask her the only obsession she has these days is with her son's pet turtles.
Apparently friends and family of Nicole Richie as worried that although she is about to debut her new VH1 reality show Candidly Nicole, she may very well be on the precipice of disaster.
According to OK! Magazine the Joel Madden is scared that his ever-shrinking wife's relationship with Rachel Zoe has he headed on a collision course with calamity:
"Joel Madden is extremely worried over the fact that his wife, Nicole Richie, is spending time with Rachel Zoe again.
"The fashionistas were close during the years Nicole was at her skinniest until their famous falling-out in 2006, when Nicole posted a blind item online insinuating that the stylist was hiding her eating disorder.
"Nicole later blamed Rachel for her slide in anorexia."
"Even though both of them have grown up a lot and started families, Joel fears that Rachel will lead Nicole down a bad path while he's [out of town.]
"Their friendship is a recipe for disaster."
When People magazine asked Richie to dish about her latest "obsession" the only thing that came to mind was her guard turtles:
"We got two for Sparrow's birthday.
"He loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and that turned into a love of real turtles.
"But now he has moved on, and I am stuck with them.
"I even joined a turtle forum and read about other people's turtle drama. My turtles are surprisingly fast."
