Beyonce $50 Million Deal With Pepsi Sees Her Join Jay-Z In The Advertising Business

In a mega deal Beyonce sees Beyonce teaming up with soft drink giant Pepsi worth $50 million according to Eonline.com.

Beyonce is set to feature for Pepsi in the near future joining husband Jay-Z on the books of the beverage compnay. The New York Times are reporting that after her Pepsi sponsered Super Bowl XLVII halftime performance the former Destiny Child member will feature on the cans of the popular fizzy drink and will be in a new commerical for the compnay.

According to Eonline Pepsi is giving the star an extra boast and says that they will promote her upcoming tour as well as forward her upcoming album scheduled for sometime in 2013.

Pepsi also noted that they will fund any creative projects the singer will have in the recent future whether it be Pepsi related or not.

"Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve," Beyoncé toldThe Times in a statement. "As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity."

The multi-year campaign was estimated at $50 million, most going towards media placements and promotions around the world, and the remainder split roughly equally between Beyoncé's fee and the "creative development fund."

Spouse Jay-Z has been with the beverage company before when he struck a deal them in the past and according to Forbes similar partnership made in 2006, Jay-Z was named "co-brand director" for Anheuser Busch beer Bud Select. The company noted at the time that the rapper would "participate in Budweiser Select planning sessions to provide his unique spin, thoughts and insights on various brand programs."
