ABC ‘Rising Star’ Qualifying Round 3: Live Vote and ‘Beat This Summer’ Brad Paisley Performance

Tonight ABC’s Rising Star finishes third and final qualifying round. This your last chance to help decide who goes on to the rest of the competition. You can live vote for who you want to move on, and check a very special performance from judge and “Beat This Summer,” singer Brad Paisley.

Country fans everywhere take note. While Miley might be banging away on NBC, Brad Paisley will be taking the stage tonight during ABC’s new singing competition, Rising Star.

The search continues for America’s next Rising Star.During week one,Sarah Darling won the votes of judges Brad Paisley, Ludacris and Kesha as well 89% of the viewers vote with her performance of the Kacey Musgraves hit song “Merry Go Round.”

After her performance Darling spoke about the thrill of performing, commenting:

"What a rush. It's truly an amazing opportunity and I'm so grateful for all the support. Now I can't wait to show the experts and America what I can do!"

“Sarah Darling is a small-town girl from Mitchellville, Iowa, raised up on Country and Gospel music. Her grandfather introduced her to the iconic sounds of legendary artists such as Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash. Her influences ranged from Shania Twain, Alison Krauss to Fleetwood Mac, Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crow and Tom Petty to develop Darlings unique style. When Sarah Darling is not singing or writing this fashionista enjoys cooking sweets, such as her popular macarons, and spending time with family and friends.”

Rising Star airs the second of three qualifying rounds tonight at 9:00 p.m. on ABC.
